Just watched this vocal studio session... wow... oh my!!! This is going to be HUUUUUGE!!! The first single on Serge Devant's second album. Close your eyes, listen to the lyrics and let the beat take control of your body. Another vocal that simply takes my breath away... makes my heart beat faster and faster... ♥.
Here's a glimpse of My Social Night Life Official Launch Party at Exchange LA feat. the one and only Serge Devant. Despite the heavy rain that night, we were happy to have a full house =)
I had the privileged to interview the man himself! (along with the gorgeous Raven). If you're not familiar with him, where have you been? Well, let's get familiar. Serge Devant, DJ and Producer whom grew up in New York, was born on January 10 in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Signed to Universal Records, he has been in the DJ Mag Top 100 and also became the youngest resident DJ at the legendary New York's Crobar. In 2009, he released the single "Addicted" feat. Hadley and quickly became known on the world's dance stage! He is currently working on his second solo album, so stay tuned for his upcoming single/releases.
Major thanks to everyone that came out that night, you all made the launch party a memorable one! A special thanks to Tim for shooting the interview/video. A special thank you to James Talk for stopping by and last but not least, thank you Serge Devant, you definitely rocked the house. See you soon.
#funfact: How did Serge link up with Hadley? During the Myspace days, he posted a bulletin looking for new talent, Hadley replied to the bulletin, auditioned... and the rest is history. Way to go Hadley!
Definitely another favorite of mine. Don't expect anything like the beats from the Miami 2011 though, this compilation is more on the mellow, dark and melodic house beats. Includes tracks from Sonic Union, Richard Knott, Deepfunk and Digital Impression. Loving the variety :)
