Playing a huge role in the EDM scene since the early years of the millennium, Italian- born DJ and producer EDX(Maurizio Colella) put his mark on the world of melodic progressive house. The sound of EDX has a true uniqueness to it which is captured in his weekly global radio show “No Xcuses” airing in over 30 countries. Today, EDX celebrates its 100th episode with new productions by ID-ID, as well as custom remixes of tracks byBeyoncé, Avicii and Helvetic Nerds. Meanwhile, EDX has launched a special remix contest for his global smash “D.A.N.C.E.” Starting today, February 1 through February 22, fans can obtain stems of the song athttps://www.facebook.com/EDXmusic/app_220150904689418 and then upload their remix to the Pinkstar Records SoundCloud Dropbox at http://soundcloud.com/pinkstarrec/dropbox/profile. Winners will be announced on March 15. The first prize is a guaranteed worldwide release of the winning remix on the upcoming Pinkstar Records remix album with a pair of V-MODA headphones. Second and third prizes will also be awarded V-MODA headphones.
Currently residing in Switzerland, EDX has to date remixed some of the most notable names in the industry including Armin van Buuren, deadmau5, Kaskade, Bob Sinclar & Axwell, Benny Benassi and evenBeyoncé to name a few. With such momentum gaining strength, he continues to share his love for the best progressive house in the scene.
